Beautiful Bellagio

Today was like planes, trains, and automobiles! We left Cinque terra on an early train headed to Milan. From there we caught a bus to the airport to rent our nine passenger van. It was way bigger than any van we had ever seen before. It was really a truck! Mike and Jim did a great job driving us to Bellagio. Mike drove Jim navigated and things were going OK until the road we were on in the center of Bellagio became as narrow as the van. We had about 2 inches on each side!! We got so many dirty looks from everyone on the street! After a very stressful few minutes, the truck was finally parked!! We checked into our hotel, Centrale Bellagio, Mike took a moment to calm down, then we walked around the gorgeous town, drank wine under the grape vines, and watched the rain roll in. We found even prettier spot on a covered balcony overlooking the lake and enjoyed more drinks. When the rain stopped we walked all through Bellagio saw some beautiful gardens and gorgeous scenery. We had a late dinner and called it a night. The next morningJim became our official driver. Oh, I forgot to mention that the van is a five speed! Jim got the van onto the ferry with expert skill and we crossed the lake headed to Tremezzo, our home for the next for nights.
